Summary: We learnt the reason behind independence of America and we relate it to the independence Christ gave us on calvary.
Children learned that independence begins with first deciding to be free. When died on the cross, he gave us independence from sin and all its attributes.
The children were taught that the wage of sin is death. And everyone who sins without repentance will face eternal damnation.
